Following the release of her latest album ‘Lover’, Taylor Swift is getting ready to hit the road, announcing the dates for her Lover Tour.
In addition to a string of regular shows, the singer-songwriter is taking her concert experience to the next level with the festival-style Lover Fest East and West.
Taylor explained her inspiration for the festival on her social media, telling fans: ‘The Lover album is open fields, sunsets, + SUMMER’, so, she adds, she wants to go to some places she hasn’t been and play festivals. And where they didn’t have festivals, she made some.
The tour start with an international leg, kicking off in June in Belgium. Then the artist will be stateside for four special ‘Lover Fest’ engagements. There’s Lover Fest East, in Massachusetts, while Lover Fest West will take place at the brand new football arena in Los Angeles.
Taylor’s concert will be the venue’s inaugural event, making the singer the first woman in history to open an NFL stadium. Though the tour doesn’t start until next summer, fans are already eagerly awaiting the opportunity to buy tickets.
