Simone Biles has taken home her 25th medal at the gymnastics world championships, setting a new record.

The American athlete add two gold medals to her total for 2019, bringing her career total to 19 golds, 3 silvers and 3 bronze. The 22-year-old Biles now has more medals from the international competition, held this year in Stuttgart, Germany, than any other male or female gymnast in history.

Actually, she broke the record twice. The previous champ, Russia’s Vitaly Scherbo, racked up 23 wins back in the 1990s, which Simone had already tied before the final day of the championships. She then topped him first with a gold for the balance beam, then broke her own record by scoring a 25th medal with her floor routine.

According to her Instagram, Biles was already “feeling golden” as she arrived for her last two events, but she must have been feeling even better by the end of the day, as she showed off her mass of new medals.
