At the 2019 Zurich Film Festival, Kristen Stewart debuted her new movie ‘Seberg’. In this exclusive interview, Stewart explains how she prepared herself to play the role of real life 1960s actress Jean Seberg in the movie based on Seberg’s life.

01 Quote: Kristen Stewart

“In getting in there, my biggest thing was to take somebody from like max everything, maxed-out energetic, completely buoyant, just like exuberantly here, to self-protective and so concerned with self-preservation that she literally is no longer present. So yeah, that was my biggest concern. It was sad, like I felt protective of her, I didn’t want her to go away when she did. It’s like we did’t really get enough of her.”

By the sounds of it, Kristen really got into her role and was able to empathize with her character Jean.

02 Quote: Kristen Stewart

“I think the really cool thing about Jean is that she was someone who really activated, and didn’t want to step in and become the face of something necessarily, but actually supported a cause from the inside, and allowed people to tell their own stories.”
