Oh my gosh, I love it in Cannes. It’s so wonderful to be here.”

Whenever she touches down in the South of France, Jessica has style watchers on the edge of their seats.

Making her Cannes debut in 2011 with ’The Tree of Life’, she stole the spotlight from her costars Brad Pitt and Sean Penn as she shone bright in a canary yellow Zac Posen gown.

In the years that followed the actress has proven that this festival is the perfect opportunity to have fun with fashion.

In 2013 she looked very elegant in a white Atelier Versace creation at the ‘Cleopatra’ screening. Paying homage to the late Elizabeth Taylor, she paired the dress with a sapphire and diamond necklace which belonged to Liz, a gift from Richard Burton for the star’s 40th birthday.

Returning to the French Riviera in 2016, we had a tiny flashback to her debut, as she walked the carpet in another gorgeous sunshine yellow ballgown, this one by Armani Prive.

The following year, Miss Chastain was a member of the jury in Cannes, meaning many more memorable red carpet moments. Just look at this striking green Dior number… the figure-hugging satin Armani Privé gown she wore to celebrate the festival’s 70th anniversary… this beautiful lilac tasseled Givenchy dress… and stepping out for the annual amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala she was the epitome of Hollywood glamour in an elegant black design with a low cut back and a pearl necklace.

2017 also saw Jessica tour the world for her film ‘Molly’s Game’, and she had a very special someone accompanying her to make sure she looked her very best every time she walked out the door!

“I have my mom with me, and she’s helping me so much. I don’t know what I would do without her on this tour. I mean, we’ve been all over, and like this morning I said: Okay, what am I wearing today? I haven’t had my mom pick out my clothes since I was a little kid. But really, because I don’t have an assistant or anything right now, and my mom had never been around Europe, so she says: Hey, I can come and I can help you pick out your clothes, and help you organize, and we get to travel the world together.”

We think Jessica and her mother have a pretty sweet deal going there!

The following year, Chastain supported the Time’s Up initiative at the Golden Globes by wearing black, but did opt for a little sparkle, as her velvet Armani gown featured silver side panels.

While others slipped into something more colorful at the 2019 ceremony, Jess stuck with the theme…

“Time’s Up, we’re in our second year now and our goal is to double the number of women in leadership positions. So that’s an important thing to me right now.”

Opting for another dark ensemble, this time she chose a custom silk corset gown designed by Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci. Pink Piaget earrings and a high ponytail completed the look.

For the premiere of ‘Dark Phoenix’ the actress took the opposite route though. Mixing up elegance with modernity, she rocked a sophisticated pair of white trousers and an asymmetrical top which cascaded down the side of her body into a flowing train. The stunning look almost made us forget that she was wearing a big bulky cast around her injured arm.

Another big project Jessica premiered in 2019 was the horror flick ‘It: Chapter Two’. She dazzled photographers in LA, where she looked regal in a heavily embellished off the shoulder design from Zuhair Murad, the emerald green hue perfectly complementing her red locks and pale complexion.

Then hopping over to London, Chastain selected a flowing semi sheer Elie Saab dress with plunging neckline. Going for a super polished finish, she opted for a sculpted hairstyle, a sultry smokey eye and a pop of red at the lips.

One of the hottest talents in Hollywood, expect plenty more fashion fun to come from actress Jessica Chastain.
