After eight months, Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was just released from prison. He was in jail for a 2014 tax evasion charge, and weirdly, he enjoyed his time behind bars. Whether that’s actually true or not doesn’t really matter anymore, though, because The Situation is a free man and will be out here living his best GTL life on the Jersey Shore boardwalk in no time.
“We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life. Thank you to our family, friends, and fans for the continuous love and support during this time. It brought us so much peace and comfort. We look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations! We truly believe that the comeback is ALWAYS greater than the setback and we can’t wait to show the world ours.”

Mike is out and eager to start a family with his wife, Lauren Pesce Sorrentino, and will pass on his infamous nickname to his future children!
He was also ordered to do 500 hours of community service, had to pay $123,913 in restitution, and has to pay a fine of $10,000. That is a lot of T-Shirts to sell at the Shore Store, but surely Mike can do it.
