Jamaica has one of the most laid back, relaxed vibes you’ll ever encounter on the planet, which is why it’s such a celebrity haven. The residents’ carefree smiles are very contagious, and many stars like nothing more than de-stressing from their hectic A-list lives.

The list of famous people who’ve visited here is endless and contains names ranging from Naomi Campbell to Barack Obama, from 50 Cent to Price Harry. Singer Gwen Stefani fell in love with the place to such an extent that she named her son Kingston, after the nation’s capital.

With so many VIP tourists, ultra luxurious getaways are abundant and can be found everywhere. Take Tensing Pen Resort for instance. The place looks so relaxing, just checking out these images makes our stress start to melt away. Sipping rum by the pool, while listening to Bob Marley, now that’s living the A-List lifestyle like a proper Jamaican!

And when you get bored of all the unwinding, the ocean offers some of the best snorkeling spots you can think of. The crystal clear, fish infested waters will keep you entertained for hours. Or if you’re more of an advanced maritime enthusiast, there are plenty of scuba diving excursions to be enjoyed all over the island.

But inland too there’s plenty of gorgeous nature awaiting you. The tropical climate not only provides year long nice weather, it also allows the flora and fauna to flourish.

When it comes to culture, there’s plenty to do as well. Especially Kingston is a vibrant city, that offers something for everyone. Whether you’re there for the shopping, partying or just to indulge yourself in the local lifestyle, you undoubtedly have a good time. There’s even a Bob Marley museum, for the real reggae lovers.

Half of Jamaica’s economy is reliant on tourism, so the locals know how to make sure you have a good time. Just make sure not to visit during hurricane season, ‘cause a natural disaster is a pretty big vacation buzzkill.
