Another weekend, another list of the highest-grossing films in cinemas. We bring you the Box Office Top 5 Countdown.
Dropping down hard from the second to the fifth place is ‘Hustlers’.
“These Wall Street guys. Do you see what they did to this country? They stole from everybody. Hard-working people lost everything. And not one of these douchebags went to jail.”
“The game is rigged, and it does not reward people who play by the rules. And it’s like robbing the bank, except you get the keys. Are you in?”
Quote: Jennifer Lopez
“It is probably the hardest.. one of the hardest thing I’ve ever done for a movie. It’s really acrobatic. It’s really athletic. These girls, you know, even Cardi who has done this is real life told me.. And she is like; I am really good at it. And I’m like; are you? You have to teach me because I am just learning. But it was super hard. The training was really.. it was like bang you up training, bruises everywhere training.”
Scaring its way to the fourth place is the horror ‘It: Chapter Two’.

“Help me. Help me.”
Quote: Jessica Chastain & Jay Ryan
JC: “The first film, as Andy said yesterday, is a film that is about unifying believe and love. And this film is a lot of trauma and this group of people, these losers, as they called themselves twenty-seven years earlier, have kind of gone through their lives, in a bit of a fog, because they don’t remember certain things of their childhood. And they haven’t, they’re not, or traumas of their childhood and they’re not processing them. So they are not actually living healthy lives when we meet them.”
JR: “And it becomes about the power of unity, as they come back together. And that helps them heal their traumas. It’s almost like they’ve all been waiting for these last twenty-seven years, for that something that they didn’t quite know was gonna heal them, but this is it.”
And on the third place, Stallone is back with the action-packed ‘Rambo: Last Blood’.

“I want them to know that death is coming.”
Quote: Sylvester Stallone
“Well, you try to think of something that is relatable to the audience. This one, it is trying to find and end. Where does the warrior go? He realizes that his job is to protect, that is the only thing that he is good for. And if he is pushed, if something happens that is traumatic, he is going to revert back, and that is the last thing he wants. It is really kind of a.. really dramatic piece. Very dramatic as opposed to random action. It is very heavy.”
Opening in cinemas last weekend is the sci-fi ‘Ad Astra’, with Brad Pitt.

“Look at it. The big blue marble.”
Quote: Brad Pitt
“We have this sci-fi genre, and we’re looking at the question; what if we are alone in the universe? In men’s search for intelligent life. That would be on the surface, but it is really an interior film, and it’s more about the exploration of the self. The tearing down of the ego in away.
And this week’s number one shooting straight to the first spot, its ‘Downton Abbey’.

“The King and Queen are coming to Downton.”
Quote: Hugh Bonneville
“Bringing the world of Downton to the big screen seemed to be a sort of a no-brainer. I can remember when we were in Washington, publicizing season six, and Anna Leech and I, who plays Tom Branson, and I, went to watch a bit of the screening that was being shown to an audience of about fifteen hundred people. Normally the screenings are quite small. And to hear did teen-hundred people really belly laughing together and really being silent in a pin-drop moment together. And we turned to each other and said; this could really work as a movie because there is an appetite for it and I think it will be a great pleasure for audiences, those little, those groups of families, there a little groups of families that come together into one big family and watch it in the movie theater.”

“Downton Abbey is the heart of this community, and you are keeping it beating.”
