August is winding down, but the days are still steamy, and if it’s too hot for you outside, chill out this week with some cool livestream concerts.

Most live events and large gatherings remain in hold throughout the country due to the coronavirus crisis, leading artists to continue the trend of livestreaming shows to connect with fans.

With music venues still shut down from coast to coast. Here’s your guide to the best live-streamed music content right now. For the week of Aug. 24. As additional events are announced for the week, we’ll add them to this list.

August 24: SKAM 24, a 24-hour livestream DJ event, started at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night and will last all day and night today. Fans can hear sets by Lil Jon, Pete Wentz, Samantha Ronson, Irie, Chase B, Baby Yu, Crooked, DJ Five, Eric DLux, Ever, Gusto. Jerzy, Justin Credible, Lezlee, Quiz, Richard Vision, Ross One, Sour Milk, Trauma and Triple XL. The party will be available to watch on Twitch here.

August 27: Lil Uzi Vert will go live for a Virtual Performance at 6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m. PT. Tickets are $15 here. The experience will be livestreamed from a historic concert venue, and is produced by Live Nation.

August 29: Liam Payne is returning with a sequel to his virtual concert. The LP Show, which first aired on July 17. The singer will present his fans with The LP Show Act 2 on his birthday (Aug. 29) at 12:00 p.m. PT. Tickets are on sale via the Veeps website here.

August 30: The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards 2020 will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET. Live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, BTS, Doja Cat, The Weeknd, Maluma and CNCO will perform. while Keke Palmer is set to host.

Seether will celebrate the release of their 8th studio album Si Vis Pacem. Para Bellum with a live stream at 3:00 p.m. ET. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased via the Veeps website here.

Pete Yorn will treat fans to a livestream performance of his 2003 sophomore album Day I Forgot at 3:00 p.m. PT. Limited edition. Exclusive merch will be available for purchase during the show as well. A portion of all proceeds will benefit COVID-19 relief.
